Why hire Me

I've been hand drawing since kindergarten, and still do. I've used Adobe Photoshop since version 2.0 and Illustrator 4.1, and use Creative Suite everyday. I can find complementing colors with my closed eyes and make sure Pantone print identically in CMYK. The closed eyes thing, yes I totally made that up, but Color Calculator is awesome. I can code in HTML5 and CSS3 pretty good, and learning to be JavaScript Ninja. I've learned a great deal at the accredited University and perfected it at various positions I've held in the last 20+ years. I dug deeper on my own driven by relentless curiosity about how things can look on various paper stocks, and how they work on Internet behind the different screen sizes, and fast. I can share my skills and experience to move things even faster.

My passion for this industry and the job I do drives me to deliver high-quality work every day. I love bringing my coding skills, experience and my general passion for learning new technologies to the lives of enterpreneurs and people they serve. Through the application of best business practices, I enable the people in my life to accomplish more collectively than they could separately.

Who I Am & Why

I'm an independent designer with over twenty years experience making digital products and services. I've worked with many businesses, from fledgling startups to established, large organizations. I am a visual creature. The things I chose not to include in my designs is also design. I love when function follows human needs and form follows human behavior. I also love helping people to operate ever more complex digital products in fast-changing Digital Age.

I either work embedded within a team, helping establish and scale a digital product, or as a small one man studio designing and building content managed websites for clients. I practice user centred design and believe in design based on research and prototyping, to meet user needs.
